A full-service architectural practice based in Toronto and currently working on projects throughout Ontario. In recent years my focus has been on designing cottages and country homes but from time to time, I also take on projects in the city.

My process...

One of the most exciting aspects of designing cottages and country homes is that I get to fully consider the project's site. Considering how a building will sit within its landscape is a vital starting point for all of my work. The location and characteristics of the land, the position of the sun at different times of the day and different times of the year, the direction of the prevailing wind, and other key features of the site are all thoroughly contemplated.

Equally important is connecting with clients and working with them to develop a clear vision of their needs and aspirations for the project. Understanding the unique aspects of the program for the project, and how spaces (both interior and exterior) will support and enhance the lives of those who use them is crucial to the process of creating beautiful buildings.

Meredith Robb Architect

I've been working in the field of architecture since 2000 and in my previous career as an interior designer since 1997. Throughout my years of practice, I have had the opportunity of working on a broad range of project types and with many wonderful clients.

I completed my Masters in Architecture at the University of Toronto in 2001 and I am a licensed architect with the Ontario Association of Architects.

I truly believe that we can live better through better design and it is that belief that drives me to not just create beautiful buildings but to create spaces and forms that enhance the lives of those who engage with them.
